Recently, mostly every porn blog on the Internet has been talking about "HIV", "condom usage", "bareback sex" and "legislature" all in light of the recent HIV scare the porn industry has been hit with. As a porn blogger, I watch a lot of different scenes, I talk to a bunch of different models and what I get is that most of them do bareback porn. PERSONALLY, I am AGAINST BAREBACK SEX but to each his own really. At the end of the day I am not going to put my self at risk for 20 minutes of some dick; I refuse. Nor would I ever do bareback sex, I don't care that the studio might pay you 50 dollars extra to do a scene because at the end of the day your saying your life is worth 50 dollars. Most of the models that you see having Bareback sex are 9 out of 10 times having that off camera. Now whose to say that they are doing the responsible thing and getting tested regularly or making sure they're partners are tested regularly? So once again you are taking a chance with your life. I feel like its a moral responisbility as porn directors to make sure they're models are tested. For instance, there is a urban black gay porn studio that I know for a fact let an HIV POSITIVE MODEL HAVE RAW SEX WITH THEIR MODELS. ( NO NAMES) I know who the model is and I know who the company is and I find that to be highly disgusting. At the end of the day, that model lied about their HIV status because they know if they said they were positive, the studio wouldn't agree to willingly infected another models. ( I don't think they would..now days you just don't know). What I find baffling is the studio didn't make sure test results were up to date. Eventhough, HIV has a 3 to 6 month window, still make sure test results are up to date; it not only shows that the model is being cautious about their health but it says that as a studio director you are being responsibile.
In Los Angeles CA., The lastes move is by the Los Angeles City Council to drive adult production companies out of business or out of the state all together. Micheal Weinstein of the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) has beeing pushing finally lobbied to get four L.A.City Council memebers to support a motion to deny filiming permits to gya and heterosexual adult film studios unles the permits contain special conditions; requiring condoms, dental dams, face shields and googles for all sex acts perform in adult films according to JRL charts online. Now if you know anything about straight porn, you hardly see a condom on set. EVERYTHING IS BAREBACK IN HETEROSEXUAL PORN, that is because they are required to be tested regularly by AIM. Now gay porn studios aren't required to be tested so they offer condoms. That is why gay porn has two separate categories: bareback and condom. Now California leads the porn market and often dictates how the other studios market their material, so we might have to say to say GOODBYE TO BAREBACK SEX. That means alot of studio's are going to out of buisiness and quite frankly, It wouldn't bother me.
What is your opinion?

i think that is a bit much.
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't mind watching bareback sex and I have nothing against it, the only thing I have against it are the people that are HIV positive doing it. Condoms are of course the best thing when it comes to safe sex and in the porn industry.
ReplyDeleteThis whole banning bareback sex in porn thing is going overboard. Frankly, if they want to protect people porn will need to banned completely. And if gay men REALLY want to protect themselves then they need to stop having anal sex even with condoms. Let's be frank about this, sticking a dick in a butthole is not a necessity anyway.
