Recently, there has been much mention about "Racial Insensitivity" in the Gay Porn Industry when it comes to post concerning " Black men" and " Men of color" blogs. This all started after the Editor in Chief of The Sword: Zack Sire posted images of KKK members and burning crosses next to such posts. According to Chase Coxxx, this is the same person who was awarded by Naked Sword ( parent company of Zackk's site) Best Blog/Gossip Site 57 days after this whole incident happened. Now in my opinion I thought that in order to win an award the voters and the contributing people who fund the awards ceremony need to thoroughly check the blog and or site, to see if it meets a certain criteria. Now for Sire to win an award when this conflict is happening between certain African American blogger's as well as blogger who feel the need to speak up on the issue of racial equality, I find that really strange. So this means that either the Naked Sword didn't really care or they just didn't read his site being that they were sponsoring him regardless. This is wrong and disrespectful on some many levels. I don't understand how if we say "nigger" in our porn we are playing into stereotypes and generalizations. But if they say " nigger" and "fucking black cock" or " Mandingo" they aren't racist? But for someone to blog about African Americans and Men of Color blogs and attach KKK images as well as burning crosses.. that is blatant racism. I think African Americans in the industry need to talk a bigger stance against this issues because if we don't , it makes a statement that we really don't care about our equality in this industry. Dunkins Playground might show a lot of pictures, but it also shows porn in a highly intelligent way, so does Angel Cruz XXX, MOC Blog, and ChaseCoxxx.com; all of which are blogs that feature and cater to African Americans and Men of Color. As a whole no one needs to really discriminated against. I think its pathetic that someone like Zackk Sire can post an image like that and get an award. This makes me want to put a picture of HITLER during the Holocaust on my site and see if I get a nomination. I bet I would get banned and be dub as an insensitive asshole. But what does that make THE SWORD, NAKED SWORD AND ZACKK SIRE?
