The NOH8 Campaign
On November4, 2008, Proposition 8 was passed in California which amends the California State Constitution to ban same sex marriages.
The NOH8 Campaign was created in direct response to Proposition 8. The This campaign is a silent photographic protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska ( www.bouska.net) and partner Jeff Parshley. The goal is gather up all of these photographs and so show California state legislature that people are against the idea and that we also can rally together without causing any kind of uproar or dissension.
Subjects have duct tape over their mouths to symbolize the silence caused by Proposition 8 and other similar legislation with NOH8 painted on one check in protest.
I WILL BE DOING A PHOTO SHOOT FOR DUNKIN'S PLAYGROUND BECAUSE I FEEL AS IT IS NECESSARY TO SHOW THAT AS HOMOSEXUALS/BISEXUALS/LESBIANS/TRANSGENDER WE ALL NEED TO BE ABLE TO MARRY WHO WE WANT. SIMPLE!!
