When Are You Officially A PornSTAR ?

When Are you officially a Porn STAR? This is the question that has been driving me crazy for some time now. Mainly, because everyone who does porn "dubbs" themself a porns STAR. No I know what you may be thinking... " if you do porn that means your a porn star" but it doesn't actually. If you did a porn scene then your just a model in the scene. But a lot of these dudes and a lot of aspiring models think that if they do a scene or two they are a star, it doesn't work like that. So I asked a close friend of mine, Rock ( yes Rock from Rockafellaz Ent )when can you officially be called a porn STAR? and we had a really interesting conversation that lead to these certain criteria. In order to be considered an official pornstar  or consider someone to be a pornstar you have to be brandable. Take Tiger Tyson for example, he used that "homo thug" imagery and ran with it. I mean he went from a model fucking on camera, to the model who owns his own porn company that is still one of the leading urban gay/latino porn companies (should I say empire) around to day. I say followed by Flavaworks ..but don't quote me that is just is my opinion. Back to Tiger Tyson he is a star because he built a brand and is really brandable because everyone knows about him.

To be considered  an Adult Film Star

1. How many scenes and movies have you done?
2. How many movie covers have you been on?
3. Have you been featured on any magazine covers for companies?
4. How many have you starred in and was the star in the movie?
5. How many accomplishments have you made?
6. Have you won any awards?

I think if you can answer most of these then  you can consider yourself a pornstar.

I think that term " pornstar" is being thrown around loosely and quite frankly its annoying.
